Lexi Alaysia Flint
Lexi Alaysia Flint is the 20-year-old daughter of Corey Flint and Cindell Hickman and is from the Red Water Community in Leake County. Her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Hickman from the Bogue Chitto Community. Her paternal grandparents are Ricky Sr. and Phyliss J. Anderson of the Red Water Community. Lexi has four sisters, Kyleigh, Zuri, Isabelle, and Evelyn, and one brother Corey Jr. (CJ). She has a cat named Binx and a dog named Kovo.
A 2024 graduate of Leake Central High School, Lexi is currently a student at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in the College of Liberal Arts where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in allied health studies. Lexi’s goal is to be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. After reaching this goal, Lexi plans to become a Travel Nurse before coming back home and working for the Tribe.
Lexi enjoys watching any streaming service, specifically Anime films and series. She also enjoys spending time with and mentoring her younger siblings. A proud Chahta Ohóyo, Lexi loves all Choctaw traditions and is excited at the opportunity to teach others about the Tribe.
Past Princesses
A tradition that started in 1955, the Choctaw Indian Princess is crowned each year on the first night of the Choctaw Indian Fair. The first official princess, Patsy Sam Buffington, was selected at the tender age of 12, thus beginning a distinguished legacy. The Choctaw Princess serves as the Tribe’s Ambassador.
