Transportation
Regular transportation service is available only for patients with appointments at CHC. It is not available on weekends or holidays unless requested by the physician on call or the nursing supervisor. The purpose of the transportation department is to provide non-emergency transportation for patients to the CHC or contract health facilities in distant cities. Priority is given to individuals who have absolutely no method of transportation or are physically incapable of operating a vehicle.
