Lab Services
Laboratory Services are provided to the Choctaw Health Center by contract with American Esoteric Laboratories. A full range of tests are provided in-house to aid in the immediate diagnosis and treatment of patients. Tests unable to be performed on-site at CHC are sent to Memphis or other outreach facilities within the AEL system.
The Laboratory is involved in many aspects of patient care- directly and indirectly. Collection and processing of specimens, correlation of field clinic collections, diabetic monitoring, referral of infectious diseases, WIC certification, and the monthly Retinopathy Clinic are just a few of the many services provided by the Laboratory. The CHC Laboratory provides services 24 hours a day with on duty lab personnel.
