Diabetes Management and Prevention
Established in the fall of 1999, the Diabetes Management Center provides comprehensive prevention education and medical treatment service to every person with diabetes, their families and community members. The long range goal of the Center is to reduce the incidence of diabetes and complications of the disease through nutritional, physical and behavioral (lifestyle) modifications as well as individualized medical management. Patients with diabetes may be referred from outpatient, inpatient, Women's Wellness Center, field clinics or by self-referral.
