Choctaw Language Learning Resources

The Department of Chahta Immi is committed to the maintance and preservation of the Choctaw Language. "Chahta Annopa Ik hapi kaniyoh kiya" has been the battle cry of the Department against the dangers of language loss. We at the Department are pleased to provide the Choctaw Language Learning Resource web page for teachers, students, and for the general public who desire to download the materials for learning or teaching the native language of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Take a look into pages of the Department of Chahta Immi (DCI) Profile and explore the Department‘s Programs and services they provide to the Tribal members and the public.

The Resource material is made possible by the Department of Chahta Immi staff, who labored tirelessly to research and compile this special project for the advancement of the Choctaw Language.

Funding for this project was made possible by the Administration for Native Americans and the ECHO Grant Project.
