Choctaw Veterans
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians
have a proud heritage of faith in their country and their freedom.
The Tribe contributed to our nation's freedom during World War I:
the Choctaw language was used as a code during the war to outwit German
forces. Members of the Tribe have served honorably in the U.S. Armed
Forces and continue to do so today.
