The Division of Schools recently unveiled plans to build a high school and middle school, plans expect to have it open by Fall 2012.

The Choctaw Tribal Schools is dedicated to providing the best possible education for our students. We have approximately 2000 students in eight schools. Our support services are varied and many. We invite you to enjoy the many cultural and educational points in our website and to contact us for more information.

We are the schools of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, and we are deeply proud of the unique heritage that is ours. Our schools are important places for learning about grammar, reading, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and sportsmanship. But they are also very important places for learning about the Choctaw language and culture. We hope that every person associated with the Choctaw Tribal School System -- students and staff, tribal members, and non-tribal members -- will all learn together about our rich Choctaw past, our vibrant Choctaw present, and our bright and shining Choctaw future!

The Choctaw Tribal School District consists six elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. It is located in central Mississippi and covers the counties of Neshoba, Leake, and Newton. The schools are, a non-public schools, operated as a division of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and accredited by SACS and the Mississippi Department of Education. Students attending must be 1/4 Native American.
