Elisah Monique Jimmie 2019-2021 Choctaw Indian Princess

From the red clay hills of east central Mississippi, serving as the goodwill ambassador for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians is Miss Elisah Monique Jimmie. She hails from Bihhi Ayasha, the Pearl River community, which is the largest of all Choctaw communities. Elisah is the 21-year-old daughter of Karla Keats of the Pearl River community and Elijah Jimmie, also of Pearl River. Elisah is presently a sophomore at East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi where she is a member of the Bon Appetite Culinary Club, Diamond Darlings, Native American Club, and the Warrior Corps college recruiting organization. Due to the global pandemic, Elisah has not been able to travel extensively to represent the Tribe on the regional or national levels. However, she has been featured on videos, radio spots and public service announcements. She has been serving the Tribe well in her public relations work. Elisah is proud to have been selected as the 65th Choctaw Indian Princess, joining the list of elite and revered proud Choctaw women before her. May her journey be filled with respect, compassion, love, and most of all, fun in representing one of the most progressive tribes in all Indian Country. Godspeed is wished upon her in all her endeavors.
