Famie Cheyenne Willis
2009-2010 Choctaw Indian Princess

Famie Cheyenne Willis is the 17-year-old daughter of Lisa A. and Gerald Willis, Sr. of the Red Water Community. She is currently a senior at Choctaw Central High School. She is a member of the cross-country team, the Future Business Leaders of America club, the CCHS Pow-wow planning committee, the CCHS basketball cheerleading team, and the annual staff. She is the president of CCHS’ Health Occupational Students of America organization.

Her hobbies include playing the piano, songwriting, making beadwork, learning new things, and spending time with family and friends. She is a member of Choctaw Missionary Baptist Church in the Standing Pine Community, where she is a Sunday school teacher for ages one through five.

Her future plans after high school are to attend Meridian Community College for two years to study radiology and then to finish her last two years at UMC in Jackson, MS, and focus on ultrasound technology. She hopes to work for the Tribe as an ultrasound technologist and raise a family. Famie says, “God is most important in my life, because without Him, I am nothing.”

Famie is sponsored by the Red Water Development Club.
