The Choctaw Health Center, located in the Pearl River Community in Choctaw, Mississippi, is a Title V Compacted Indian Health Services supported facility and provides direct and contract health care for eligible members in the Health Service delivery area as it is defined in the Federal Register. The service area includes the counties of Attala, Jasper, Jones, Kemper, Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Scott and Winston. The Choctaw Health Center serves federally recognized American Indians and Alaska Natives which includes all enrolled members of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

Choctaw Health Center is the public health authority for the more than 11,000 member Tribe and other eligible individuals, and reports any COVID-19 activity to the Mississippi Department of Health to ensure public health and safety.

To date, Choctaw Health Center has reported one positive COVID-19 case out of 12 tests in the Health Service Delivery Area. Two test results are pending.
